The
HISTORY and HERITAGE THE LAND
cxvzfdbxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
The beautiful land,
once roamed by Pre-Anasazi Indians, has a true sense of place. During
the Archaic period, basketmakers, farmers and hunters utilized the flint
and chert for weapons and tools, leaving behind primitive chipping stations.
Spanish and early pioneer families quarried granite and limestone, grew
crops, grazed livestock and gathered pinon and juniper wood. More recently,
this pristine land has been used for family outings, hiking and horseback
riding.
A deep appreciation
for the land has been instilled in the Martinez family. This land has
been part of their family for generations. Because of this strong sense
of pride in ownership, the Martinez family realized the only way to
develop the land in a sensitive manner, and to the benefit of the family,
was to develop it themselves, with the help of Steve Flance, a long-time
Santa Fe real estate developer, broker and family friend.
This care and concern
for the land itself will insure a site-sensitive mountain valley development
with sweeping views...built for future generations to enjoy.
